Four Angles Biceps: professional 4-in-1 biceps machine

The Four Angles Biceps Machine is a professional isotonic machine designed for the complete training of the elbow flexor muscles, with main focus on the biceps brachii and synergistic involvement of brachialis and brachioradialis. A distinctive element of the machine is the work surface adjustable on four inclinations (Patent Pending), which allows you to configure different exercise setups with the shoulder in a flexion range between -10° and about 110°; this angular variation allows you to modulate the initial stretching of the biceps brachii, progressively reducing it and creating different neuromuscular stimuli along the Range of Motion. The physiological load curve, obtained through a CAM system connected to the levers, guarantees a delivery of resistance consistent with the ability to express force during elbow flexion, maintaining optimal tension both in the concentric and eccentric phases. Independent levers allow for unilateral or bilateral execution, ideal for correcting asymmetries and improving motor control. The gas-assisted seat and depth adjustments allow precise adaptation to different anthropometries, ensuring correct alignment of the shoulder, elbow and wrist. The counterbalance system cancels the unladen weight of the operating levers, optimizing the management of initial loads and improving the quality of the contraction from the first repetition.

Features

  • Multiple workout station with a 4-position adjustable configuration to vary the work surface.
  • Height-adjustable seat with gas assist system for quick and precise adaptation.
  • Depth-adjustable seat with gas-assisted system for correct positioning with respect to the levers.
  • Independent levers for unilateral or bilateral execution and management of muscle asymmetries.
  • Physiological load curve with CAM connected to the levers for progressive resistance consistent with joint biomechanics.
  • Counterbalance to cancel the curb weight of the exercise levers.
  • Handles adjustable to two angles: supine and semisupine, to modulate the involvement of the elbow flexors and the stress on the elbows.

Work planes

  • Shoulder flexion angle -10° – The shoulder is slightly extended and the arm is located just behind the trunk. This angle is great for those who want to stimulate the biceps in stretching and improve strength in the final arm extension position.
  • Shoulder flexion angle 10° – With the arm just advanced from the trunk, the biceps brachii works with a slight degree of flexion. The optimal degree of elongation allows the use of greater load.
  • Shoulder flexion angle 50° – As the degree of flexion of the shoulder increases, the biceps brachii reduces its initial elongation, while still maintaining a good ability to express strength.
  • Shoulder flexion angle 110° – With the shoulder strongly flexed, the biceps brachii works in constant shortening, limiting its activation; in this condition it is the brachialis muscle that becomes the protagonist.
